What does AItrack do?

Aitrack is a simple tool that allows you to assign and track your tasks directly from the web. You can assign tasks to anyone in your company or with an e-mail address. When they receive the task, they will receive it as an e-mail with a link to your page that allows them to update the status of the task or add a note to the task. Users in your company can respond and assign tasks themselves. Out side users do not need to register or have an account with AItrack to receive tasks assigned by registered users. You can also assign tasks to yourself and keep track of them. List of tasks assigned to yourself and others can be custom sorted and viewed.

Can we continue using AItrack directly off your website, or do we need to buy and install a program?

AItrack is hosted on our secure servers. There is no need to purchase or install anything. Simply signup and log in from the top right hand corner on the homepage and you can start using AItrack immediately.If you like the product we haev a monthly fee based on number of account and storage.

What are the system requirements to use AItrack?

All you need is internet and a browser. This can be a computer or the browser on a mobile telephone. AItrack is compatible with all major platforms.We also support portable devices such as cell phones. Initially though internal browsers and native applications for the Iphone and Blackberry.

How do I change my user information and password?

Click on the Settings tab to modify your information and change your password. Enter all the changes in the fields that you want changed, then hit the Submit button at the bottom.

How do I retrieve my password if I forget it?

If you forget your password, go to the login page and click on "Forgot Your Password?". Your password will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you used to create the account.

Can I sort my tasks?

Yes, simply click on the header's in the task list to sort by header information. For example, if you want to see all tasks assigned in order
of their deadline, click on the header that says "Deadline".

On the Overview tab, you'll also see pre-sorted links with your tasks for quick retrieval.

How do I find tasks that are assigned to me?

You can find them by click on Overview, then Assigned Tasks and view the pre-sorted links with your assigned tasks. Or you can click on My Tasks tab and view your tasks through there.

When another registered AItrack user assigns a task to you, you will receive this task via e-mail with a link to their page to view the task, update the status or add notes. You will not see these tasks listed in your account; you can only view them through the link provided via e-mail.

How do I create a task?

Click on either Assigned Tasks or My Tasks and hit the "Create New Task" button. If you assign the task to yourself it will appear, once created and submitted, under My Tasks, and if you assign the task to someone else it will appear under Assigned Tasks.

How do I reassign a task?

You can only reassign tasks that have been assigned to others, not to yourself. To reassign a task, click on Assigned Task, then click Edit/Delete Existing Task. From this page, you'll see the option to reassign to someone else.

Can I assign a task to more than one person?

Yes, you can assign the same task to up to 5 people. When creating a task you will be given the option to assign to more than one person.

How do I delete a task?

To delete a task, click on either the Assigned Tasks or My Tasks tabs. You will see a link to Edit/Delete Existing Task and at the bottom of this page you will see the delete button.

Can I edit a task or add notes?

To edit a task, click on either Assigned Tasks or My Tasks tabs. You will see a link to Edit/Delete Existing Task. You can edit the details of the task on this page as well as add notes.

When you assign a task to others, they'll receive an e-mail with a link. When they follow the link, they will be allowed to view task details and add notes from this page.

How can I sort the tasks by their deadline?

You can sort tasks in the lists according to any of their headers (Assigned To, Assigned By, Task Name, Deadline, Status) simply by click on the headers. It will sort them in ascending, descending or alphabetical order.

Are my changes saved automatically when I logout?

Yes. If you hit submit on any of your changes everything is automatically saved when you logout.
